6/22/2023 0 Comments Fully MeFor the past two weeks, I have been part of a practicum for the Center of Courage and Renewal ( https://couragerenewal.org/). What I appreciated about this particular practicum was its intention on focusing on each participant - what do the lessons mean for you? How can you live in this holistic way in a world that wants to chip away at us piece by piece?
One of the things most pertinent to me was the role of silence in my life. I am an introvert that has a lot of words coming at me each day. And if I'm honest, sometimes in chaotic settings. I know that in order for me to truly listen to people that I need space for silence. Yet, I don't make that part of my day. Why? Because I get so caught up in doing that I forget the posture of being that I require to be fully me. Maybe silence isn't what you need. Maybe it's something else completely. But what do you need in order to show up fully as yourself in this world? And how can we champion each other in this holy work?
