9/2/2023 0 Comments "Get Around to It"I will be the first to admit that patience is not my strong suit. If I say that I'm going to do something, I try to get it done quickly.
So needless to say, the fact that I have been waiting for a closet to be cleaned out for worship supplies for over a year is not a recipe for me to be happy. There are a lot of factors going into this uncleaned closet, but most of it boils down to the statement that "we will get around to it." Too many of us have that same approach to our spiritual lives - we will "get around to it" - when we have more time, or attention, or.... fill in the blank. But what would it look like to actually have a sense of attention to our spiritual lives? What if we so highly valued them that we made our souls a priority? What would the shape of our lives be then?
