For the last year, I have been working on my certification to teach yoga. I was confident in the material, but when it came time to record my final video - a sixty-minute class - I was so nervous.
Thankfully, I have an awesome sister-in-law, who recorded with me and we had such a wonderful time. It immediately calmed my nerves. But she asked me a really important question - what am I doing with this material? And for the first time, I was able to give voice to the desire of my heart.
I eventually want to use yoga to work with people who are grieving. I'm not sure what that looks like, but I am just taking it one step at a time. And passing this certification course was one of the first steps.
How about you? Who do you trust to hold your dreams - even when you haven't fully fleshed them out yourself? Who champions you in the process of seeing those dreams be birthed?
